This book focuses on modeling techniques pertinent to pharmaceutical unit operations that are commonly used in drug development of solid dosage forms.

Each individual chapter is dedicated to a single unit operation, starting with a short introduction to that unit operation that is then followed by a discussion of the techniques that have been successfully used to model that unit operation. Each chapter consists of multiple case studies where a certain model was applied successfully to a certain scenario in order to familiarize the reader with the application aspect of said model.
